Keep in mind the pictures below were taken from the dining room window. The snow banks are up to the windows. We have created our own small hill for the boys to slide on....and we can watch them without leaving the house.

Best Snow Fort EVER!

Because work took me away to Las Vegas during the last snow storm our driveway was plowed rather than the typical snow blowing, this has created some tall snow banks that we normally don't have. I took Boy 1 and Boy 2 out and showed them how to make a snow fort by digging into the snow banks. This thing has gotten progressively larger each day we work on it. We now have an area we call the living room.

Buzz and Woody

For Christmas the boys each got PJ's from Audrey (Daycare). As you can see they are Buzz and Woody from Toy Story, and I must admit pretty damn cute.

Frosty Comes to Life

Santa brought Boy 1 and Boy 2 a Snowman Kit for Christmas. It is very cool, it has everything you need to make your snowman look real. All you need is sticky snow and sticks for arms. I must say we are very proud of our snowman.

Someone even stopped on the side of the road walked onto the lawn and took a picture.........we are very proud! Unfortunately Boy 2 wouldn't come back from playing to be in the picture.


Though today we had alot of wind and the hat blew off. I went out looking for it and followed its tracks in the snow as it bounced along and then they stopped. It looks like a bird came and picked it up............now he will never come to life. "There must have been some magic in that old silk hat they found......."

I wonder if the Chinese people who work in the toy factory laugh when they are attaching all of these toys to the box just to make our kids get impatient waiting for their toys

Birth Control

So tonight is New Years Eve and some may participate in to many adult beverages and do something foolish. If this could be you, watch the following video it will snap you back to reality. This little episode went on for 45 minutes, from the car, to the kitchen and up to Boy 2's bedroom all because he couldn't get a lollipop at daycare. Aunt Monica was supposed to stop by to deliver gifts from my sister that night. When I finally got home 30 minutes into this Carey simply said "I don't want to see anyone tonight" Understood!
