A Little Tony Gwynn and a Whole Lot of Bill Buckner

Play Ball!!! Boy 1 is now playing Tee Ball and he really likes it. The first practice was held on Tuesday night and it was so funny to watch. Boy 1 has a good, accurate arm. His swing is good, but the fielding gives you the most laughs. But he trys so hard!

It is nothing for all the other kids to just watch the ball roll by them and Boy 1 takes off from any position and go get it in the outfield.

This is where the Bill Buckner comes from in the title.

E.B. Leaves a Note

So if you've seen the new movie Hop you know E.B. stands for Easter Bunny. This year E.B. left us (Boy 1) a note, reminding him he is a little older and faster than Boy 2 so he needs to make sure Grady has a chance to get some eggs also.

As you can see by Boy 1 and Boy 2 stuffing their faces they each did all right!

Our Pride and Joy (A Little Catch-up)

Probably won't be the last time we see them in a cruiser.

Boy 1 and I had our first day of fishing, we had no bites but we can't wait to go again.

Boy 2 can't get enough of peeing outside at every opportunity now.

Yeah, those pajama bottoms aren't going to fit much longer

The Big Gift

We had been tossing around the idea for awhile now of getting the boys one of those battery operated cars they can ride around the yard, so this year we decided to pull the trigger. Now all we gotta do is survive the 5 weeks until Boy 2's Birthday and he can have his own! With any luck Boy 1 will have a soft side and keep giving rides.

Boy 1 is Five

Now let me let that sink in.............Our first born is already 5 years old! I swear to god I can still remember every moment at the hospital 5 years ago, but now it seems as everything in between is a blur.

Well anyway enough of my "Deep Thoughts". Yesterday Boy 1 had friends over to celebrate his birthday(Today is actual B-day, I will post more later). Carey did an awesome job and created a superhero theme to the party. Each kid had a sewn cape with the first letter of their name on it and a mask to hide their identity (very important). She also created some signs that said "BAM" "POW" "THUD" "WHACK" to simulate a comic book.

Strap Me In

I didn't think anything about it when Carey took the picture, but this is Boy 2 as we are watching the end of the Daytona 500. We had washed one of his car seats and he just got comfy. He looks as though he could be dropped into the drivers seat of one of the cars.
